El Monte is hosting a celebration in honor of Dia de los Muertos on Main Street on Oct. 19 from noon to 6 p.m.
The event in the city’s downtown area will feature live music from a Selena tribute band and banda, ballet folklorico, face painting, workshops, vendors, food, mariachis and a car art exhibit.
In addition to the fun, two Disneyland tickets will be raffled.
The event is sponsored by the Downtown El Monte Business Association.
