Monrovia’s Community Garden at 303 W. Colorado Ave. has been so successful that a new Monrovia Community Garden will be opening up later this summer on the south end of Monrovia near Station Square.
Residents interested in learning more and participating in the city’s information meetings, staff along with Food ED partners will be hosting a presentation Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and on July 27 at Station Square Park, 1629 S. Myrtle Ave. The presentation takes place during the Monrovia Farmer’s Market. An additional informational meeting is scheduled for July 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Monrovia Library Park, 321 S. Myrtle Ave.
