San Bernardino County Regional Parks has successfully acquired $1 million in federal funding to enhance Glen Helen Regional Park.
The project will focus on playground upgrades, including the installation of essential shade structures to safeguard playground equipment. Additionally, Regional Parks aims to enhance the park’s accessibility, ensuring that all visitors, regardless of ability, can enjoy its amenities.
“Congressmember Pete Aguilar’s unwavering support has been instrumental in securing this funding,” county officials said in a press release. “The county extends its deepest gratitude to Congressman Aguilar for his dedication to the well-being of our county residents.”
