Authorities on Saturday continued to seek public help locating a 64-year-old man who went missing in Covina earlier this week and requires medication for an unspecified medical condition.

Jimmy Hagime Morinaga was last seen around 1 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of East Cloverton Street, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.

Authorities described Morinaga as Asian, 6 feet tall, weighing 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and he has a prosthetic right leg. Morinaga was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

The sheriff’s department asked that anyone with information on Morinaga’s whereabouts to call the Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or go to lacrimestoppers.org.
