Arcadia High School will open its campus, halls, fields, gyms, and classrooms to prospective students, parents, and community members in its annual Spring Preview and Open House event on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 180 Campus Drive. All are invited to join this free opportunity to preview what it’s like to be a student at Arcadia High; no RSVP is required.

The event offers an immersive experience for incoming freshmen, prospective students, and families to explore campus life at Arcadia High School. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover the array of academic programs, extracurricular activities, and student organizations offered.

“Spring Preview allows incoming ninth-grade students and their parents to get a glimpse of Arcadia High School and all the ways that they can get involved and make the most of their high school experience,” shared Arcadia Unified Superintendent Dr. David Vannasdall.

Throughout the event, guided tours led by Arcadia High’s Seniors of Merit at Work and Link Crew will provide insights into campus facilities and departments, helping incoming freshmen and their families feel more comfortable and acquainted with their future high school campus.

“Parents consistently tell us that it’s very beneficial for middle school parents and students to get an idea of what becoming a part of the Apache family is like,” shared Arcadia High Principal Dr. Angela Dillman. “They get to see all of our A’s in action–the academics, the activities, the athletics, and the arts.”

Spring Preview will also feature a fair in the Arcadia High Rally Court, showcasing various clubs, academic teams, athletic programs, and student organizations. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with both students and staff representatives, explore different interests, and learn more about the opportunities available at Arcadia High School.

Performing arts groups, such as Arcadia High’s band, will perform and provide a glimpse into the arts community at Arcadia High.
