Authorities Thursday sought the public’s help to find a woman with bipolar disorder who went missing in Sylmar in July.

Janethy M. Perez, 36, was last seen on the afternoon of July 15 in the 14000 block of Olive View Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

“Perez suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia,” a sheriff’s department statement said. “Her family is concerned with her well-being and asking for the public’s help.”

Perez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222- TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
