Authorities Sunday sought the public’s help to find a 65-year-old man last seen in East Los Angeles.
Jose Luis Hurtado was last seen on Aug. 22 in the 900 block of South Simmons Avenue, near Whittier Boulevard and the Commerce city limit, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Hurtado is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 140 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a beard. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and white shoes, according to the sheriff’s department.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
