Police Tuesday sought the public’s help to locate a 63-year-old man with the mental capacity of a child who was last seen in Redondo Beach.

Brindon Allen Stits was last seen Wednesday near his home in the 2700 block of Carnegie Lane, near Pacific Crest Cemetery, according to the Redondo Beach Police Department.

Stits is white, 6 feet tall and weighs between 150 and 200 pounds, with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, Bermuda shorts and slippers.

Police also noted Stits has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, and he is known to frequent the Manhattan Beach area.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to contact the RBPD at 310-379-5411. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
