This year’s picnic is scheduled for Sept. 24 and will feature the Route 66 Classic Car Show, Family Fun Zone, a variety of boutiques, food vendors, beer gardens, live music, and much more for families and pets.

“The City of Duarte is excited to celebrate the 65th anniversary of incorporation,” stated Mayor Margaret Finlay. “Duarte has seen some incredible growth and change over the past 65 years. The City Picnic is a wonderful opportunity for friends and neighbors to come together to honor our roots and celebrate our bright future ahead.”

This year’s festivities will begin at 11 a.m. Attendees can listen to live music throughout the park from local performers such as the Dreamboats, CS-Arts Jazz Band, Mariachi Arcoiris, and a special performance from Duarte Dance. Dogs will get in on the celebration at Pawty Central.
