A 78-year-old man diagnosed with dementia, who was reported missing in Irvine, has been found, authorities said Wednesday.
Armando “Gabby” Vasquez was last seen about 4 p.m. Tuesday near Yale Avenue and Irvine Center Drive, and authorities sought the public’s help to find him.
On Wednesday morning, the Irvine Police Department reported that Vasquez had been found “by an alert member of the community in Garden Grove.”
“He was in good health and reunited with his family,” police said in a statement.
