A 78-year-old woman was reported missing Wednesday in Diamond Bar.
Carol Louise Chaplin was last seen about 10:30 a.m. in the 1150 block of Cleghorn Drive, near Sycamore Canyon Park, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Chaplin is white, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, with black wavy hair that is graying and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt with blue flowers and black pants.
Authorities said Chaplin may have been heading to a shopping center at South Grand Avenue and Diamond Bar Boulevard.
Anyone with information on Chaplin’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
