Authorities Monday sought the public’s help to find a 59-year-old man who was last seen in Palmdale.

Carlos Palacios was last seen about 10 a.m. on July 24 in the 3800 block of Lemsford Avenue, near William J. McAdam Park, according to Deputy Michael Chen of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Palacios is Hispanic, 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 220 pounds, with short gray hair that is slicked back, brown eyes and a missing left ring finger. He was last seen wearing black shorts, and is known to drive a black 2003 Ford Ranger truck with the California license plate 29098W1.

Anyone with information on Palacios’ whereabouts was asked to contact the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
