

At least one person was killed Thursday in a crash in Azusa involving a bicyclist.
The crash took place at mile marker 24.19 on San Gabriel Canyon Road (state Route 39) around 10:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash caused the closure of north and southbound lanes near the site, the CHP reported. A SigAlert was issued by the CHP for traffic between Rockspring Way to East Fork Road.
There was no immediate word on the gender or age of the person who died, and it was unclear if there were any other victims.
