A Bobcat driver was hospitalized Saturday after the construction equipment rolled down an embankment in Chatsworth, briefly trapping him.
The accident was reported at 7:25 a.m. at 20312 W. Willoughby Lane, according to spokeswoman Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The vehicle rolled approximately 15-20 feet down an embankment with the driver inside. An LAFD Urban Search and Rescue Team freed the victim, who was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Firefighters notified OSHA about the accident since it was a construction accident on a work site, Stewart said.
