Authorities sought the public’s help Friday to find a 22-year-old man with depression who was reported missing in Rosemead.

Bryan Xu was last seen about 11 a.m. Thursday in the 7500 block of Emerson Place, near Garvey Park, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Xu is Asian, 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair tied in a bun. He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark-colored shorts.

Xu is known to drive a sliver 2009 Toyota Camry with the California license plate 8FOB503. The LASD also noted that Xu “recently may have been near the 900 block of West 22nd Street in the city of San Pedro.”

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
