A Pasadena Police Department motorcycle officer was seriously injured in a crash Friday.
The collision involving the officer and a red sedan occurred about 3:20 p.m. in the area of East Colorado Boulevard and North Oak Avenue, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.
The officer was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, the department said. The occupant of the sedan was not injured in the crash, and no other injuries were reported.
The public was advised to avoid the area of the collision as authorities conducted an investigation.
