Missing: Woman diagnosed with dementia last seen in Lynwood

A 72-year-old woman who authorities say has early onset dementia was reported missing Saturday in Lynwood.

Renee Elizabeth Williams was last seen at approximately 7 a.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Virginia Street, said Deputy David Yoo of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs’ Department’s Information Bureau.

Williams is Black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, has brown eyes and black/gray hair. She wears glasses and was last seen wearing a light blue sweater, blue jeans and blue shoes.

Anyone with information about Williams or her whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called into Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
