A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by his father from a Paramount middle school was found safe Thursday evening.

Sebastian Ray Serrano was taken by his father Ramon Serrano, 48, from Leona Jackson Middle School located at 7220 Jackson St. about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to Deputy Brenda Serna of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. They were last seen together on the 12000 block of Art Street in Sun Valley about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

The sheriff’s department announced Thursday night that Sebastian had been found safe and returned to his mother, and his father was taken into custody, but no further details were released.
