Help needed to find man with autism reported missing in Paramount

A 59-year-old man who investigators say has autism was reported missing in Paramount and Tuesday members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Mario Gallegos was last seen at 7:30 a.m. Monday on the 15100 block of Hayter Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Gallegos is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown eyes and black, wavy hair. He was last seen wearing a red and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans and Skechers shoes.

Anyone with information about Gallegos or knows of his whereabouts was asked to call the Sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
