Man shot, killed in Temple City

A man was shot and killed in Temple City Tuesday.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were called to the 9000 block of Las Tunas Drive, near Jefferson Middle School, at about 12:20 p.m. on reports of the shooting. They found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to Deputy Raquel Utley.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of his next of kin.

No motive or suspect description was provided.
