A 70-year-old woman diagnosed with dementia who speaks limited English was found early Wednesday after being the subject of a Silver Alert.

Taisa Rassoha had last been seen about 5:50 p.m. Monday in the area of Parthenia Street and Independence Avenue in Canoga Park, authorities said.

Rassoha was found at approximately 12:04 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the Silver Alert at the request of the Los Angeles Police Department.

No further details were available.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
