Arcadia’s Jason Lee donates $10K to Arcadia Police Foundation

Jason Lee, a well-known local attorney in Arcadia, donated $10,000 to the Arcadia Police Foundation last week. Lee presented the donation check to Mary E. Hansen, the founding Board Member and Vice President of the Arcadia Police Foundation.

Lee takes special pride in being a long-time resident and registered voter of Arcadia. He has stated that he is proud of the fact that Arcadia has been rated several times as “the best city to raise your kids in California” by BusinessWeek Magazine, along with Arcadia Unified School District is ranked in the top 1% among our nation’s 10,700 school districts.

Lee believes that public safety is the number one concern of the residents who live, work, study and retire in the city.

He established a campaign committee last August by filing the necessary papers with the Secretary of State’s Office and the City Clerk of Arcadia, obtaining a committee ID and formally declaring his run for Arcadia City Council District 5.

Lee’s well-publicized platform includes action plans such as: fighting crime, keeping Arcadia a “safe city”, governing by law and order, strengthening the police force, increasing police patrols in neighborhoods, implementing smart policing and installing more cameras/license plate readers in Arcadia in order to prevent crime and track down the culprits.

The Arcadia Police Foundation, founded in 2013, “supports the Arcadia Police Department by providing financial support and by promoting the community and police partnership.”
