A search was underway Monday for a missing 13-year-old girl in the Quartz Hill community bordered by Lancaster and Palmdale.
Isabel Blue Carlos was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday at George Lane Park in the 5500 block of Avenue L-8, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, black Vans sneakers and crystal bracelets.
“Isabel’s family is very concerned for her well-being and asking for your help,” Koerner said.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call detectives at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
