Tickets still available for drive-thru Christmas light show at Santa Anita Park
In partnership with entertainment company World of Illumination, the City of Arcadia is showcasing their first Christmas-themed drive-thru light experience just in time for the holidays.
Named “Reindeer Road,” the event has been taking place since Nov. 11 and will continue through Jan. 2 of next year at Santa Anita Park located on 285 W Huntington Dr.
In what is a mile long driving, residents who enter will travel through a light show that resembles mountainous terrains, traverse glacial peaks, northern ice caves and will eventually continue to Santa’s Workshop which is placed in the heart of the northern forests.
Along with the show’s 350-plus North Pole-themed installations and millions of animated lights, people can also follow along with a synchronized musical experience where the event’s coordinating radio station helps the lights move with the rhythms of different music.
World of Illumination has done shows similar to Arcadia’s since 2019, and this year they are also having light events outside of Arcadia in Marietta, Ga., Hampton, Ga., Glendale, Ariz. and Tempe, Ariz.
Tickets for the remaining dates are still available for purchase at https://tickets.worldofillumination.com. General admission starts at $59 and a “Dasher Pass,” which provides quicker access to the tours, is also available for $79.
