A 69-year-old woman who went missing in Whittier over the weekend has been found safe, authorities said Tuesday.
Julia Braasch had last been seen about 8 a.m. Sunday in the area of Comstock Avenue and Whittier Boulevard, and authorities sought the public’s help to find her.
On Tuesday morning, the California Highway Patrol, which issued the Silver Alert on behalf of the Whittier Police Department, reported that she had been found safe. Other details were not released.
