UCLA basketball game at Washington scrubbed due to COVID case in Husky program

The UCLA men’s basketball game scheduled for Sunday at the University of Washington has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues in the Huskies’ program.

According to UCLA, the game will not be rescheduled under the Pac-12 policy regarding COVID-impacted games for which the two schools cannot agree on a new date. As such, the game will be considered a Washington forfeit and a win for UCLA, although it will not affect either team’s overall record.

The game, however, will count as a league win for UCLA.

UCLA’s next men’s basketball game will be Dec. 11 against Marquette, held in Milwaukee.
