The City of Pasadena is hosting its annual Mayor’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Pasadena City Hall, located at 100 N. Garfield Ave., on Friday.
Mayor Victor M. Gordo is kicking off the holiday season at Pasadena’s free family holiday celebration. Visitors can enjoy festive musical performances by local youth groups, along with a holiday craft contest.
The Pasadena Fire Department will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive. Other exciting holiday festivities include a special visit from Santa Claus and several checkpoints to drop off letters to Santa.
The event will be free for everyone who attends. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the city strongly recommends wearing a face covering, and they are asking those who feel sick to stay home even if symptoms are mild.
