The Arcadia City Council is seeking applications for appointment to fill the unexpired term for Arcadia City Council District 5. Interested applicants must submit a City Council Vacancy Appointment Application to the City Clerk’s Office via email to CityClerk@ArcadiaCA.gov by Monday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 a.m.
To be considered for appointment an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- A resident of the City of Arcadia currently residing in District 5.
- A registered voter of the City.
Qualifying applications received by the deadline will be presented to the City Council for consideration and applicants will be notified of their status. Qualified applicants must attend an interview with the City Council at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 10:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 240 W. Huntington Drive.
