An 87-year-old man is missing in Pacific Palisades and Thursday authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding him.
Fred Saxer was last seen at approximately 3:15 p.m. Wednesday near Lachman Lane and Luna Vista Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued a Silver Alert for him on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Saxer is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes. He is believed to be on foot and was last seen wearing a yellow sweatshirt, gray pants and gray shoes.
Anyone who sees or knows of Saxer’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
