Authorities Wednesday sought public help to find a 16-year-old boy who went missing in the West Adams area of Los Angeles.
Darrleon Wilmore was last seen Sunday at about 6:45 p.m. walking from a business near Crenshaw Boulevard and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
“Friends and family are unable to contact him and are concerned for his safety,” police said in a statement.
Wilmore is Black, 5-feet-8 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white sweatshirt, green pants, and black Crocs shoes.
Anyone knowing his whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD Southwest Station’s Juvenile Unit at 213-485-2585, Southwest Station detectives at 213- 485-2710, 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
