The Arcadia Recreation & Community Services Department is presenting its annual Snow Festival for the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The free Holiday Snow Festival will be hosted by the Arcadia Community Center, which is located on 365 Campus Drive, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain or shine).

The event will be occupied with holiday crafts, sled runs, a snow play area for kids and more. Food will also be available for purchase, and free parking and shuttle service will be available from the Centennial Way entrance at Santa Anita Racetrack starting at 7:45 a.m.

For more information, you are encouraged to contact the Arcadia Recreation & Community Services Department at (626) 574-5113. Or you can visit the City of Arcadia’s website at www.arcadiaca.gov for more details.

Along with the Snow Festival, the department will also be hosting a Letters for Santa event as well. Santa’s elves will be delivering your wish list to the North Pole, and Santa will respond to every child who writes to him.

You can mail a self-addressed and pre-stamped envelope, postmarked between Nov. 12 through Dec. 13, to Santa Claus through c/o Arcadia Recreation & Community Services Department, P.O. Box 60021, Arcadia, CA 91066-6021.
