Authorities Monday sought the public’s help to locate an 18-year-old woman with depression and schizophrenia who was reported missing in Bellflower.

Raquel Melissa Martinez was last seen about 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 14700 block of Cabell Avenue, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Eva Jimenez.

Martinez is Hispanic, 5-feet-1 inch tall and weighs 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green hoodie, blue jeans and a black shirt.

Anyone with information on Martinez’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
