You will no longer need a reservation to visit Monrovia Canyon Park on weekdays
The City of Monrovia will no longer require visitors to have a reservation when visiting Monrovia Canyon Park on the weekdays.
When Monrovia Canyon Park reopened at the end of August, after closing to the public in the aftermath of the Bobcat Fire, the city institued a reservation system for visitors eager to return. At the time, city officials asked that visitors take extra precautions when walking, biking, or hiking in the park as the earth remained unstable with loose gravel and rocks along the trails.
Though weekday visitors will no longer need a reservation, those planning a trip during the weekend will still be required to make a reservation. To make a weekend reservation, visit cityofmonrovia.org/CPreservation.
Monrovia Canyon Park is open Sunday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. On Tuesdays, Monrovia Canyon Park is closed to vehicles for routine maintenance, but still accessible for those walking or biking in. The park is closed during any rain event. There is an admission fee of $5 per vehicle on weekdays and $10 on weekends.
