A man suffered minor injuries in a car-to-car shooting in Pasadena Wednesday evening.

Police responded at 7:50 p.m. to Washington Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue after receiving a shots fired call, said Lt. Keith Gomez of the Pasadena Police Department.

One vehicle police believe was involved in the shooting crashed into several parked vehicles near the scene, and Gomez said it has “evidence” in and outside of the vehicle of being involved in a shooting.

The occupants of the vehicle that collided with the parked vehicles fled the area before police arrived, Gomez said.

Police later located another vehicle in the 1000 block of Washington Boulevard and Gomez said police believe that vehicle was also involved in the shooting.

“We’re still trying to determine which of the vehicles initiated the shooting,” Gomez told City News Service.

Gomez said a man in the second car was taken to a fire station and later to a hospital with minor injuries. Gomez said police are questioning him regarding his involvement in the shooting.

There is no suspect description and the investigation is ongoing.
