Sheriff’s detectives asked for public assistance Sunday to find a 23-year-old woman who went missing in June.

Jaliyah Antwonette Bowman was last seen June 2 in the 13100 block of San Pedro Street in the Athens area of Los Angeles.

Bowman is Black. She stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez said. She has black hair, brown eyes and a heart tattoo behind her left ear.

She was last seen wearing a tie-dyed sweater and black pants, Navarro- Suarez said.

Anyone who has information on her whereabouts was asked to call the LASD’s missing persons unit at 323-890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. To issue an anonymous tip online, go to lacrimestoppers.org.
