At-risk Long Beach man reported missing, police seek public’s help

Police Monday were searching for a missing 72-year-old man who suffers from undisclosed medical conditions and may become disoriented who was last seen in Long Beach.

Leopoldo Flores Alfaro was last seen about 3 p.m. Friday walking away from his home near the area of Hill Street and Obispo Avenue, near Discovery Well Park, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Alfaro is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to contact the LBPD Missing Persons Detail at 562-570-7246 or police dispatch at 562-435-6711. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
