

A boy was injured in a shooting near Pomona High School Friday after classes ended for the day.
The boy did not suffer any gunshot wounds in the shooting reported at about 3:25 p.m. but was instead injured by broken glass or debris, according to the Pomona Police Department.
“When officers arrived to the location, they located a juvenile male on the ground,” the department said in a statement.
“He was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
The boy’s name and age were not released.
There were no other injuries.
