Authorities Thursday sought public help to find a 78- year-old woman who went missing in the Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles.

Miriam Sanchez was last seen Sunday near Humboldt Street and North Avenue 25, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Sanchez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has blonde hair and green eyes.

“Her family is very concerned for her safety,” an LAPD statement said.

Anyone knowing her whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD missing persons office at 213-996-1800, or 877-LAPD-247.
