Brush fire burning in Castaic Canyons area; no structures threatened

A two-acre brush fire was burning Wednesday in the Castaic Canyons area.

Firefighters were sent to North Lake Hughes Road and Dry Gulch Mountainway at about 1 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

No structures were threatened, the fire department reported.

Ground crews and helicopters were sent to the scene.
