Person hospitalized after South Los Angeles brick attack, suspect sought

A suspect who threw a brick that hit a person in the head in the South Los Angeles area was being sought Tuesday, police said.

Paramedics sent to the 10200 block of La Cienega Boulevard at about 8:35 a.m. Tuesday took the injured person to a hospital in unknown condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

No description was available of the suspect, who fled in a vehicle.
