The animal-advocacy group spcaLA will host a low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic next weekend in Gardena.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Gardena City Hall, 1670 W. 162nd St.

Medical staff will administer vaccines, flea and tick treatments, de- wormers and microchips for dogs and cats.

Social distancing measures will be in place during the event. Exam areas will be sanitized between patients and hand sanitizer will be available. Masks are mandatory, and guests who are under the weather or have been exposed to COVID-19 are asked to stay home.

Clinic prices will range from $10 to $60.

Dogs are required to wear collars and leashes, and cats must be in a carrier. Pet parents are asked to have existing vaccine records and payment readily available.

An additional vaccine clinic for Leptospirosis and canine influenza boosters will take place Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at spcaLA’s PD Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center, 770 E. Spring St., Long Beach.
