The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert Tuesday for a 78-year-old man diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and high blood pressure and last seen in West Hollywood.
Abdul Zaheri was last seen at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the area of North Laurel Avenue at Sunset Boulevard, the CHP reported.
Zaheri is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with tan sleeves, dark colored pants, black sandals and white socks.
Anyone who sees Zaheri was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
