Overnight closures of the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in the Pacoima area are scheduled to begin Wednesday evening as part of an ongoing paving project.
The closures are to take place between the Golden State (5) Freeway and Paxton Street between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and ending on Saturday at 5 a.m., according to Caltrans.
Also closed will be the connector road from the 5 Freeway to the eastbound 210 Freeway, along with the eastbound 210 Freeway ramps at Yarnell, Roxford, Polk, Hubbard and Maclay streets.
Motorists will be detoured to the 5 Freeway Roxford Street off-ramp, or they can use the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway to continue to the 210 Freeway.
Some closures may start and end later, and all closures are weather-permitting and subject to change. The work involves the striping and staging of a temporary lane configuration for the paving project.
