Covina woman killed in crash on 10 Freeway in East Los Angeles

Authorities Thursday identified a woman who was killed when the vehicle she was driving crashed on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in the East Los Angeles area.

Norma Murray, 64, of Covina died at the scene of the crash that occurred at about 5 p.m. Wednesday near Center Street, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.

According to the CHP, Murray was driving a 2019 Honda CR-V in the express lane when her vehicle crashed into the right shoulder wall and then hit the left shoulder wall.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
