Authorities Thursday were searching for a missing 79-year-old man last seen in Lakewood.
Gee Chau was last seen about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 3200 block of Van Nostran Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Chau is Asian, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, with short gray hair and brown eyes. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a white-and-gray sweater, black pants, a gold ring and gold necklace.
Anyone with information on Chau’s whereabouts was asked to contact the LASD Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online at lacrimestoppers.org.
