Authorities search for man with depression missing in Lancaster

Authorities Thursday were asking for the public’s help in locating an at-risk 33-year-old man suffering from depression who was last seen in Lancaster.

Daniel Sierra was last seen at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of East Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department’s Information Bureau.

Sierra is Latino, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a L/S ORG shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information regarding Sierra’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Sheriffs Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous tips can be called in to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submitted online atlacrimestoppers.org.
