Man shot to death at Pomona home, Major Crimes unit investigating

A man was shot to death at a Pomona home, authorities said Monday.

The shooting was reported about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of South Reservoir Street, according to Pomona police Sgt. Lain Miller.

“Upon arrival, the officers located a male adult down in a yard suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds,” Miller said. “The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

The victim was a Pomona resident, he said.

No suspect information was available, Miller said.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were investigating the shooting, he said.
