Arcadia Living celebrates grand opening of assisted living community
On Thursday evening dignitaries from Arcadia City Council, El Monte School Board and the City of San Gabriel were invited to celebrate the grand opening of Arcadia Living with cocktails, canapés and tours of the newly remodeled facility.
Located in what was previously home to Vista Cove, Arcadia Living provides assisted living services, hospice care, respite care and adult day programs.
Their new mission is to “serve our residents with compassion and respect, in an inviting and secure setting; to promote independence; and to care for their physical and emotional well-being,” according to their website.
Thursday evening was an opportunity to celebrate the new facility — complete with a small pond and gazebo to shade those looking at lush gardens — and let the community meet residents, doctors and administrators at the assisted living center. Over 60 guests enjoyed some live music, speeches by Arcadia Mayor Sho Tay, Councilman Tom Beck and Mayor Pro Tem Paul Cheng.
Executive Director Noemi Biely worked the room and elaborated on Arcadia Living’s activities and dedicated care team.
The event, created by Director of Business Development Miles Yoshisato, focused on the history of the facility.
The pièce de résistance was the gourmet spread of appetizers which include shrimp, an enormous selection of rare cheeses, breads, fruits and vegetables.
Arcadia Living is located at 601 Sunset Blvd., Arcadia. For more information, call (626) 447-0106 or email info@arcadialivingusa.com.
