LOOK Dine-in Cinemas on Thursday opened its doors to Monrovia and the local movie-going community.

More than a year after Studio Movie Grill closed its doors, LOOK set up shop in the same 11-screen locale. Much like its predecessor, LOOK will offer audiences a full-service, dine-in experience. The movie theater also offers private reservations for gatherings and screenings.

During the first week of business, each California LOOK location will offer moviegoers a preview admission price of $5 per ticket. Additionally, moviegoers can explore the menu and receive 25% off food and non-alcoholic beverages for the first four weeks after opening. And, for a limited time, moviegoers can book private auditorium rentals for up to 50 guests for $99. Movie-lovers on a budget can also enjoy $5 admissions every Tuesday for all showtimes before 1 p.m.

Additional LOOK locations are slated to open in Downey on July 22 and in Glendale on July 29. The Downey location will boast eight screens while Glendale will have 10.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to provide three more California communities with jobs that pay fair wages, and a space for each neighborhood to come together for great cinema experiences,” says Brian Schultz, founder of LOOK Dine-in Cinemas. “I firmly believe in the magic of going to the theater so I hope that after a year of isolation that we start to see more and more communities going back to the movies.”
