Man shot and killed in Lancaster, LASD investigation underway

A man was shot to death in Lancaster early Friday morning.

Sheriff’s homicide investigators were called at 3:25 a.m. Friday to the 2700 block of West New Grove Street, where they found the unidentified man, who died at the scene, said Deputy Miguel Meza of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Information Bureau.

There was no additional information immediately available.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at 323 890-5500.
